Seak Lin Ly is a Water Quality Analyst at Sydney Water, working in the Parasitology and Cell Molecular Biology laboratory. Seak joined Sydney Water in 2020, after graduating from her Biomedical Science degree at the University of Newcastle in 2019. Starting one week before the COVID pandemic, she was one of the few Water Quality Analysts working as part of the COVID waste-water monitoring program team. In 2022, Seak joined a private lab testing company and established a NATA accredited Parasitology lab in Newcastle. In 2023, Seak rejoined Sydney Water, assisting in method development, carrying out explorative experiments and research, as well as routine water quality testing.
