John is a Civil Engineer and Project Manager with 18 years’ experience in diverse range of projects, including water and civil infrastructure, mining, building construction, industrial projects and planning projects. Based in Newcastle, John is the manager of GHD’s Buildings & Power Business Group and responsible for delivery and oversight of all building projects undertaken in this region. John’s key strengths include the design management and technical leadership of multidisciplinary projects. One of John’s proudest achievements is being part of the team that won the 2020 IPWEAQ Excellence Award for Innovation for the Emerald Airport SMA Overlay. He was the Design Manager for Quipolly Water Project and will deliver today's presentation.
