At the end of 2019, I left my job as a Musical Instrument Repair Technician and my hometown of Bathurst, NSW, to seek a new chapter. My wife and I moved to Port Macquarie. At the start of 2021, I began a traineeship in Water Operations with Port Macquarie-Hastings Council and was offered a job as a Wastewater Operator about six months later. It is now three years down the track and I love what I do, where I live, and my two-year-old son.
