Grant Powell is a highly experienced water industry professional with more than 30 years in the sector. Over 26 years working in the field, he built deep operational expertise before moving into leadership roles, where he spent more than a decade overseeing Field Services and logistics operations. Passionate about developing people, Grant completed his Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) to further strengthen his ability to build capability in others. For the past five years, he has specialised in training through the Greater Western Water Training Academy, delivering practical, hands-on programs that equip operational teams with essential skills. Grant also serves on the WIOA NODP Advisory Group, where he mentors emerging field professionals — a role he considers the most rewarding part of his career.
